"The Cellist" this is a beautiful picture (Seriolithograph) created by Barbara A. Wood. It is a number (811/975) Limited Edition by Franklin. Barbara A. Wood is a native of Columbus, Ohio. American artist Barbara A. Wood was prone to sickness as a child, and she spent most of her time painting or sketching alone in her room. She was raised by her mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother in Ohio. The female family dynamic was a central theme in Barbara A. Wood paintings, and her female portraits depict emotional experiences and inner turmoil. Later in life, motherhood became a frequent subject in Barbara A. Wood's paintings, and she was often seen with a child on one hip and a paint brush in her free hand. Barbara A. Wood's signed prints of serigraphs, lithographs, paintings, and pencil sketches can be found at auction and through private collectors. Her original paintings are found among the collections of Jane Seymour, Ron Howard, and Jerry Lewis. May 29, 1926 - May 28, 2023 Barbara A Wood, a renowned impressionist artist, passed away peacefully in her sleep in Atlanta, Georgia at the age of 96, one day before her 97th birthday.
