"Oval Vase" - is 75/250 with a Certificate of Authenticity for the Etching by Margaret Bedell. This print is a combination of printing techniques utilized by Margaret Bedell. The impressions or embossed pattern is intaglio, which can utilize anything to create and impression in the paper, including the printing plate. But these appear to be protruding shapes rather than impressions, so it was the printmakers intent to create a relief surface. The vase is a lot more delicate, and may involve one or more types of printmaking just within this image. Etching should be involved, but the colors and shapes are very soft, so lithography could be involved as well. Soft ground etching and/or aquatint are possibilities for the vase as well. The picture was previously owned and has minor wear, please see attached pictures.
