Wilton RWP Armetale 14 inch platter in the Queen Anne pattern pewter plate $50 Vintage from before 2000, this is a Wilton RWP Armetale 14 inch Serving Platter in the Queen Anne pattern. I have seen these plates described as appetizer, bread, salad or dessert plates. The plate is marked several times on the back with RWP.(RWP are the initials of the founder of Wilton, Ralph P. Wilton, Sr.) It is also marked WILTON-COLUMBIA, PA. USA. Some are stamped better than others. The platter is made by the sand cast method, sand mold, so each plate is unique, no two are exactly alike. This is not pewter but made to look like, the more you use them the more it looks like pewter. Freezer, fridge and oven safe up to 1200 degrees. Resistant to crack, chipping and denting. It was shown on a decorator show on a mantle, they were colonial eastern shore houses and the piece looked stunning displayed on the mantle. Item was previously owned and has minor wear and is in great condition, please see attached pictures.
